Alfen reports H1-2020 revenues of 90.3 million euros, a 47 percent rise versus H1-2019. Adjusted net profit grew to 5.3 million euros. The energy solutions specialist from Almere says it has experienced limited Covid-19-related business interruptions up to this point. Order intake in Q2 2020 was reasonably strong with no canceled orders, the supply chain kept functioning and production has been up and running. The company reaffirms its full-year revenue outlook of 180-200 million euros.

“As the long-term energy transition growth drivers remain unchanged and strong, we continued to invest in our organization, innovation and production facilities,” comments Alfen CEO Marco Roeleveld. “For instance, we developed direct payment functionality for our charge points and an innovative substation for onshore wind farms. We successfully completed the relocation of our EV charging operations to a new and larger facility and significantly expanded our EV charge point production capacity. We look back at a successful capital raise in June, of which the proceeds will be used to further strengthen our position as a provider of energy solutions for EV charging, energy storage and smart grids.”
