The supervisory board of ASM International will nominate Benjamin Loh to succeed Chuck del Prado as CEO. Previously Loh, a Singaporean citizen, held management positions at a range of tech companies, including FEI, Swiss conglomerate Oerlikon and US deposition equipment company Veeco Instruments. His last executive position was at VAT Vacuum Valves until late 2017, leaving him with two supervisory roles, including one at Dutch materials company Kriya. Prior to it being acquired by Kulicke & Soffa (link in Dutch), Loh also served as chairman of the board at Liteq, which developed a stepper for advanced IC packaging.
