ASML considers acquisitions to support growth

ASML may make acquisitions to support its capacity expansions, which according to recently updated projections could triple revenue by 2030. That kind of growth necessitates a bigger supplier base, CEO Peter Wennink said according to Bloomberg. “We’ll acquire what we think is needed to support the roadmap,” he said Tuesday at a news conference in South Korea. Wennink is visiting Korea to, among other things, attend a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of ASML’s new support and training facilities in the Asian country.
