Braincreators and Advantech put heads together for AI on the edge

AI technology expert Braincreators and industrial IoT specialist Advantech are teaming up on a new project. The duo announced a new edge solution for automating visual inspection and observation. The solution will combine Advantech’s edge-computing technology with Braincreator’s Brainmatter platform for AI-based intelligent automation. The collaboration enables Brainmatter to perform automated tasks on the edge of IoT devices suitable for industrial environments.

Companies are increasingly looking to benefit from AI technologies like intelligent automation. However, most of the time, they lack the required specialist knowledge. Demand for accessible solutions that are easy to scale up and offer seamless integration into existing environments are of particular interest in the real estate, infrastructure and manufacturing industries. In this joint venture, edge-solution-ready packages can be used in the cloud, on-premises and on the edge, performing automation models in near real-time, thanks to reduced latency and data processing closer to the device.
