Dutch startup SCIL Nanoimprint Solutions has been included in the latest European cohort of the Intel Ignite accelerator program. The Eindhoven-based nanoimprint company was selected along with nine other startups from seven countries. The 12-week Intel Ignite program offers hands-on mentorship, technical support, business acumen and access to investors.

Based on technology developed within Philips Research, SCIL is working on nanoimprint lithography equipment and processes to transfer wafer-sized nanometer-resolution patterns. Its focus is on optical structures, such as those used in AR, lasers, (bio)sensors and metalenses. SCIL raised 10 million euros last December in an investment round led by Invest-NL.

Another Dutch startup, Fonontech, was included in the previous European cohort of Intel Ignite.
