Innovative companies operating in the Dutch provinces Gelderland and Overijssel can soon apply for R&D support at the Europese Operationeel Programma Oost. The organization, a collaboration between the European Union and local government in the Eastern Netherlands, earmarked 18 million euros for substantial R&D projects in the agro-food, health and high tech (HTSM) domains. At least three organizations (not necessarily companies) need to be involved, of which at least one is an SME. Grants of 350,000 up to 2,000,000 euros are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The call for proposals opens on 16 May.
