Photonventures coffers grow to €75M

After completing a second 15-million-euro fundraising round, Photonventures has taken the fund’s total to 75 million euros. Moving forward, the VC firm aims to raise over 100 million euros by the end 2024. The capital is to be used as seed and Series A investments of 1-2.5 million euros for up to 20 future “deep-tech frontrunners” in integrated photonics. In the latest round, Brabant Development Agency, Oost NL, TNO and the University of Twente joined existing investors Photondelta and private backers.
