Pim Grol heads RAI Automotive Industry NL
Having enjoyed a 4-month sabbatical, Fourtress co-founder Pim Grol is back in business. Effective 1 September, he’s the successor of Albie van Buel as the managing director of RAI Automotive Industry NL, the cluster organization for the Dutch automotive manufacturing and supply chain industry. His focus is on the strategic agenda, networking activities and collaboration with the members of the Helmond-based association.
Grol brings with him an extensive background in automation and a strong network in both the public and private sectors. Together with Harry Schlatmann, he co-founded Fourtress in 2000 and led the technical automation services provider until it was bought by ICT Group in 2022. After the acquisition, it was incorporated with OrangeNXT as ICT Applied Solutions and Grol continued as manager of the new business unit, stepping down on 1 May of this year.
