Starting 1 January 2020, Arne Leinse will take the helm at Lionix International. Previously chief commercial officer, Leinse succeeds the company co-founder and CEO Hans van den Vlekkert, who’s taking on a new role as vice president strategic business development. The other co-founder, René Heideman, stays on as CTO.
Arne Leinse received a PhD degree from University of Twente in the Integrated Optical Microsystems group in 2005. Hereafter, he joined Lionix, where he was involved in the development of the company’s unique integrated photonics recipe based on silicon nitride, called Triplex. He was vice president of Lionix until the establishment of Lionix International in 2016, when he assumed the role of chief commercial officer.
