Neways has announced the intended appointment of Hans Büthker as the new chief executive officer (CEO) and member of the executive board. Per 1 October, he’s to lead the company through its next stages of growth. He’s succeeding Eric Stodel, who will step down as CEO on that date.

Büthker, already a Neways supervisory board member since 2020, has gained a wealth of experience in leading and growing international high-tech organizations. He served as CEO at Fokker (2013-2017) and GKN Aerospace (2017-2021) and as COO at Fokker and chief procurement officer at Stork. He also brings a strong network in the technology ecosystem, through positions on the board of High-Tech Materials and the Dutch Deep Tech Fund.
Departing CEO Stodel looks back on “three exciting years in which we launched a company-wide transformation program, completed the transaction with Infestos and repositioned Neways as a technology innovator of smart mobility, connectivity and semicon solutions.”
