As of 14 March, Dieter Therssen is the new CEO of Sigasi, the Gentbrugge-based provider of hardware design guidance software. He’s the successor of Bob Seghers, who left last year. Therssen is coming over from DSP Valley, where he’s been at the helm since 2017. Sigasi’s board of directors is bringing him on board to expand the business in what the company calls “this evolving era of digital design.”

After obtaining an MSc in electronics and IC engineering from KU Leuven, Therssen started his career as a hardware design engineer, using Imec’s tools and design methodologies in the early days of silicon integration. Since then, he’s developed his skills across many digital technologies, in a broad range of applications and for a variety of companies, including Philips, NXP and Premium Sound Solutions. He brings with him a solid track record in building B2B relationships and a strong network in the sector, most recently cultivated at DSP Valley.
