Eindhoven tech startup Hable has released its first product to the market. The eigh-button, Bluetooth-connecting braille remote control, known as the Hable One, went on sale this week. It’s just one of the Eindhoven University of Technology spinoff’s ideas to provide a new user experience for the visually-impaired smartphone users.

The Hable One is smaller than most cellphones and weighs in at about 90 grams, which makes it easy to carry and use. Additionally, it comes with a rechargeable battery that offers up to 50 hours of active use before needing to be charged. The device works similarly to video game controllers and offers precise text input, as well as easy access to voice commands, to optimize the usefulness and usability among its target market. The retail price is 229 euros and the Hable One is available on the company’s website.
