Superlight Photonics has completed a seed investment round led by DeeptechXL and Oost NL. The spinoff from the University of Twente has developed on-chip, energy-efficient wideband laser light sources. These so-called supercontinuum lasers have applications in medical imaging and industrial metrology.

“We aim for a swift market entry, relying on the robust photonics ecosystem in the Netherlands and Twente. In the coming years, Superlight Photonics is poised for significant growth, market establishment and further scaling,” says Cees Links, CEO of Superlight Photonics.
