Semiconductor Climate Consortium announced

A group of more than 60 companies across the semiconductor value chain, including ASM International, ASML, Imec and NXP, has formed the Semiconductor Climate Consortium (SCC). Endorsing the goals set forth by the Paris Agreement on climate action, the collaboration aims for the global semiconductor ecosystem to reach net zero emissions by 2050. Members will work together on common approaches and technology innovations to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. They will annually report on their progress.

I encourage every company across the value chain to join the SCC and contribute to this crucial mission.”
