BOM veteran Brinkhoff takes the helm at Photondelta

Eelko Brinkhoff has been appointed CEO of integrated-photonics accelerator Photondelta. Currently the managing director of Foreign Investments & International Trade at the Brabant Development Agency (BOM), Brinkhoff’s main priorities will be to mature the organization and put it on the map as an internationally recognized accelerator for the photonic chip industry.

“Eelko has extensive experience and knowledge in the field of foreign direct investments and internationalization of small and medium enterprises. He’s built a strong network in business, government, knowledge institutes and universities in the Netherlands and abroad. Also, he’s been involved in the growth of a number of foreign tech companies setting up shop in the south of the Netherlands,” a press release reads.

CFO Laurens Weers of Photondelta: “Eelko’s experiences in both business and government, combined with the deep-tech environment that the BOM is known for, make him a great fit for the job. Our industry has some exciting times of international growth ahead and he’s joining us at the right time.”
