Invest-NL plans €600M-1B scale-up fund

Invest-NL has announced plans to set up a fund that will support tech scale-ups during their growth phase. With an initial investment of 200 million euros, the intended fund size is 600 million to 1 billion euros. The Dutch public investment bank is courting pension funds to participate by offering ways to reduce risk. Traditionally, pension funds are reluctant to invest in high-risk ventures, but political pressure to contribute to the country’s future well-being has been mounting.
