Mini-Circuits connects to EU with Nijmegen office
US-based Mini-Circuits has expanded its international presence with a satellite office in Nijmegen, as announced earlier. With the help of the regional development agency Oost NL, the company, which specializes in the design, manufacture and sales of RF/microwave components and systems, has now set up shop at the Novio Tech Campus. In addition to serving as a hub for the business development efforts in the global RF energy market, the Dutch office location also enables the RF specialist to expand its corporate service and support presence for its European customers.
The new office is headed by Mark Murphy, Mini-Circuits’ global market manager for power amplifiers and RF energy. Murphy is a 25-year RF/microwave industry expert who, since 2019, has led the company’s power amplifier product line and guided its focus into the industrial high-power RF market. Mini-Circuits offers over 60 RF power amplifier models, off-the-shelf, from 3-100 W. Under Murphy’s lead, the company is now looking to refocus its product development roadmaps with emerging market needs by expanding to 1 kW with coverage up to 8 GHz.
“Mini-Circuits is very pleased to expand our European sales and marketing operations into the Netherlands,” says Murphy. “The NTC gives us an ideal base camp to stage our entry into the RF energy market and for future growth as we extend additional resources to support our customers in Europe.”
